All three versions of Lockpicking Tools can be crafted at a High Quality Workbench. Lockpicking Tools v1, unlocked at level 16, will unlock chests which would usually require a Copper Key. They require the following resources to make: 10 Ingots Made in any furnace using Ore 10 Paldium Fragments Obtained from mining Paldium rocks, or by putting Stone into a crusher 5 Nails Made at any workbench using Ingots Lockpicking Tools v2 will unlock chests which usually require a Copper or Silver key to unlock. The recipe for Lockpicking Tools v2 simply doubles the resources of the previous version: 20 Ingots 20 Paldium Fragments 10 Nails Finally, Lockpicking Tools v3 will allow you to unlock any chest, regardless of whether a Copper, Silver, or Gold key would usually be required. As such, the resources required to craft them are slightly harder to get: 30 Pal Metal Ingots Made in an Electric Furnace by combining Ore and Paldium Fragments 30 Paldium Fragments 20 Nails All you need to do to use any of the Lockpicking Tools is approach a locked chest and press the interact button.
