Keep in mind that other tools like the Crescent Pick can't be used with the Tablet of Peace equipped. There isn't an exact location for the Shades, so you must be on the lookout for them. Once discovered, approach them to begin a short minigame. Completing this minigame is relatively easy; it only requires pressing and holding the right buttons. Just follow the prompt, which should give you a nice Psyche reward for the Arcana cards upgrade.
