The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom puts the princess in the lead this September
Instead of a Zelda remake, which some fans may have expected, Nintendo surprised everyone with a brand new series entry, putting players in the princess's shoes instead. Zelda games typically have Link as the protagonist, but this time around, Nintendo flips that concept on its head and shines the spotlight on Zelda. Similar to Princess Peach: Showtime, which was released earlier this year, Echoes of Wisdom has Zelda step up to the plate as the hero. Strange rifts have appeared and taken people away, including Link. As a result, Zelda takes action and creates The Tri-rod staff, which is able to duplicate tables, boxes, beds, and more to get around the map, and past obstacles.
